Channing Tatum doesn’t have a problem taking down armed terrorists but changing diapers and playing peek-a-boo, well, that’s a different story. The actor and new dad said that raising a child is absolutely terrifying.
Tatum, whose latest movie White House Down explosions, armed terrorists, and a threat to the White House, said that nothing is scarier than raising a kid.
Tatum said : “I can tell you that being a new dad is pretty terrifying. I’m pretty sure that something about the president makes the stakes a little higher, but to me as a new father, nothing is more important or scary than protecting a daughter.”
Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum welcomed their baby girl Everly at the end of May. Tatum has been busy with his acting schedule (he has four movies coming up) and says that it is “very hard” to miss some of Everly’s first moments.
Tatum said : “I’m working in London and you’re away from your daughter for 12 hours a day, 15 hours a day, and you come back and you feel like her face has changed from the time you left in the morning until you came back at night, so that’s pretty hard.”

Tatum’s latest movie, White House Down, recently hit theaters. The movie stars Tatum and Jamie Foxx as they try to stop an attack on the White House.
Tatum could soon be facing another scary challenge. Rumor has it that the actor could be making his directorial debut with Magic Mike 2 .
