Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra chose adoption for their first daughter, Carly, and while they know it was best to allow their daughter to be raised in a more stable environment, that’s not to say they’ve had no issues.
In a February 26 Wetpaint Entertainment report, Catelynn Lowell and her fiancé were seen discussing their issues with Carly’s parents, Brandon and Teresa, after they requested they not share photos of Carly on social media.
While Baltierra appears especially peeved, Catelynn Lowell is less concerned.
“If the only thing we can’t do is post a damn picture, who cares? As long as I have a relationship with her, I don’t give a s—t about anything else.”
Catelynn Lowell would likely prefer to be able to share photos of her daughter with fans, but at the end of the day, she’s happy with the arrangement, which allows her yearly visits with her 5-year-old.
Baltierra, on the other hand, feels Brandon and Teresa should have expected that their daughter would be publicly visible, as they’ve been on a reality show since 2009.
“It just p**ses me off. You guys are adults, you knew exactly how you wanted to raise your child. Did you want to raise her with cameras or not? And if you didn’t, you should never have picked us!”
In 2009, while filming MTV’s 16 and Pregnant , Catelynn Lowell and her fiancé chose adoption for Carly after deciding they weren’t emotionally or financially prepared to raise a child. Five years later, they announced plans for a second child.
“Let’s just pop this kid out,” Baltierra told Catelynn Lowell in the clip.
However, Catelynn Lowell doesn’t want Baltierra to think of their second baby, Novalee Reign, as a replacement.
“She won’t replace her.”
During filming for the upcoming season of Teen Mom , Teen Mom OG , Catelynn Lowell and Baltierra welcomed Novalee Reign. Also during filming, Gary Shirley revealed his girlfriend, Kristina Anderson, was expecting, and Maci Bookout’s boyfriend, Taylor McKinney, told producers they would soon welcome a child.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Baltierra recently gushed over Catelynn Lowell on Instagram.
