Casey Kasem is 81-years-old, sick, and is in the middle of a feud with his family.
The Inquisitr reported earlier today that the legendary radio host is currently stuck in his home with his wife Jean. Kasem’s children want to check in on their father but Jean isn’t letting them in the gates.
The family feud reached fever pitch last night when Kasem’s children, as well as some supporters, held a mini protest outside of Kasem’s gated estate demanding to see their father.
Kerri said: “My dad is very sick, and we have been completely shut off from him for the last three months.”
Jean eventually called the police and had Kerri and her brothers and sisters escorted off the premises. The exact issue behind the feud isn’t known but most suspect that it has something to do with Casey Kasem’s fortune and his multi-million dollar mansion .
Kerri said: “There is no money issue here, we just want to see our dad. We love him, and everyone knows his kids and grandkids are a source of joy for him. It’s cruel to keep us from seeing our dad. We don’t want any money from Jean. We don’t care about that. We were raised well, and we support ourselves.”
The Social News Daily notes that Casey Kasem’s daughter elaborated on Twitter.
Kerri, who is an animal rights activist, said that Casey is to sick to fight his own battles right now. Luckily for him, his daughter is here to fight for him.
