Another Dancing with the Stars wedding is in the near future. News just broke that Carrie Ann Inaba recently got engaged to boyfriend Robb Derringer. The cute couple announced that they are indeed getting hitched, but no wedding date has been set just yet.
People had the exclusive details on the amazing proposal that happened on a California beach on December 10. The romantic night was all planned out and it included a bottle of wine, the waves of the Pacific Ocean as their scenery, and a bonfire built for two.
Inaba explained that they have spent every Saturday together doing something special ever since they started going out. However, this particular Saturday was the most special out of all of them as she was proposed to on the same beach that they went to on their first date.

Their relationship was made public back in March as Carrie Ann started posting photos of the two of them together and she has not been shy about gushing over him ever since. They seem like a perfect pair and very happy together. Derringer is obviously very much in love with the DWTS judge as he took out paper and pen to express his feelings about his girl.
“I’m a better writer than a speaker so I chose to share my thoughts with Carrie in a letter expressing how much she meant to me, how much she had changed me, how much she had taught me in our time together thus far and what my hopes and dreams and intentions were for our future together.”
Both Carrie Ann and Robb said that it was love at first sight and that they fell hard and fast for each other. They are both 48 years old and are bringing all that they have learned over the years to their relationship. The actor seems to know his future wife pretty well, even from the very beginning. She dished that he had planned the perfect first date months ago, just like she had dreamed about as a young girl.
The beautiful engagement ring that is now on her finger consists of a 3.68-carat diamond in an oval-cut shape attached to an 18-karat rose gold band. The huge rock that was designed by Jean Dousset also features 120 round brilliant-cut diamonds along the band. The uniqueness of this ring is that this particular designer adds in a “Signature Stone” in the inside band in which a ruby was chosen for Carrie Ann. There is also another ruby and a garnet embedded in the band, along with the engaged couple’s names.

Carrie Ann Inaba will most likely return to her duties as a judge on the next season of Dancing with the Stars. She is not the first one on the dance competition to get engaged recently. Erin Andrews, who shares hosting duties with Tom Bergeron, was proposed to by her longtime boyfriend, NHL player Jarret Stoll. TMZ reported that she confirmed it and has the ring to prove it as well. In addition, Julianne Hough is busy planning her wedding to fiance Brooks Laich. They have been engaged for over a year now.
While Inaba will be gearing up to once again sit at the judge’s table on DWTS this coming spring, Robb Derringer will be preparing for a new acting gig on Days of Our Lives. His first appearance is expected to be sometime in late winter or early spring of 2017. The soap vet also had a short stint on ABC’s General Hospital as Detective Kyle Sloane, but was killed off in 2015.
Carrie Ann has been doing some undercover work as well. This fun project is for JC Penney where she is trying to disguise herself as a cashier to promote gift giving, joy, and loads of fun as only she can bring. Have you heard her laugh yet? It is highly contagious. She is also a strong advocate for rescuing animals.
There is no word as to how long Carrie Ann Inaba and Robb Derringer will wait before they say I do, but they may just share some details soon. Congrats to the happy couple.
