Britney Spears’ Sons: Introduced To Her New Men Too Soon?

There’s no dispute that Britney Spears seems to be in a healthier emotional space than she was six years ago. She manages to share custody of sons Sean, 8, and Jayden, 7, with ex-husband Kevin Federline without much drama, although immediately after their split she was deemed unfit to care for them. After therapy and treatment, she was awarded joint custody of the two boys.

While she seems to be a caring, devoted mother, her seemingly endless string of relationships and the fact that she introduces her children so quickly to her love interests leaves some fans raising their eyebrows.

Spears, 33, has been romantically involved with love interest Charlie Ebersol, and despite the fact they’ve only been dating two months — they’ve already started a matching pajamas tradition . The couple posed in front of a twinkling tree with the singer’s sons Sean and Jayden on December 25, all four in matching pajamas, which Spears then submitted to her Instagram account.

During her alcohol rehab and head-shaving incident, Spears began a relationship with photographer Adnan Ghalib , who was frequently seen with young Sean and Jayden.

Not long after that split, the singer had a four-year long relationship with Jason Trawick, whom she lived with and her sons lived with part-time. While she seemingly rose to greater career heights and became sober, that relationship fizzled in January 2013, and the singer briefly dated David Lucado.

Now, just months after the split from Lucado, Spears is involved with Ebersol, who appears to live with her and her young sons, taking matching pajama photos in front of the Christmas tree of their home. When that picture and story aired in Us magazine, some fans were worried for the emotional safety of Sean and Jayden and took to the comments section to express their concern.

“That’s really not healthy for them. She should keep her love life separate from them and only introduce them when she has a ring on her finger and an actual date set.”

Many agreed with that sentiment, but another fan had a different view of the situation.

“In what book of rules does it say she needs to be engaged before her kids can meet her boyfriend? A happy, healthy parent equals happy, healthy kids.”

While there have been no reports of anyone close to Spears expressing the same concerns, it is an interesting situation. The boys’ father, Federline, has six children, including Sean and Jayden, and they reportedly have a relationship with all of those siblings as well.

What do you think, readers? Is it healthy for Sean and Jayden to be exposed to so many of Britney’s love interests?
