With monthly events like the Darkmoon Faire returning and weekly bonus events running continually, World of Warcraft players have no shortage of festivities or event goals to complete. In the month of September, however, a popular autumn event returns for its yearly visit where players are encouraged to revel in good food and good drinks. Brewfest is the highlight of this month’s events with mounts, pets, toys, and more to be obtained during the fermented folly.
Blizzard Entertainment detailed the events coming to the World of Warcraft in September in a handy overview on the official website . Brewfest is the big attraction considering it only comes around once a year but the Darkmoon Faire will be back a week before Brewfest starts. The Faire will be around from September 6-13, letting players earn more Darkmoon Prize Tickets for mounts, pets, toys, and transmogrification gear. The Darkmoon Faire is also a nice way to earn a few profession points, try your hand at carnival games, or loot the famous Darkmoon Rabbit.
Brewfest is running from September 20 through October 6, giving players ample time to collect, celebrate, and enjoy. Each day during Brewfest, characters can queue into the Coren Direbrew fight from the Looking For Dungeon tool. The first kill of each day for a character will reward the player with a treasure chest with a chance to contain one of the special Brewfest mounts (a kodo or a ram), the Direbrew’s Remote, or Brewfest epic weapons. Ram racing, quests, and daily quests are also a part of the festivities. Not to mention, daily quests are a good way to earn Brewfest Prize Tokens.
According to the official World of Warcraft Brewfest overview , these tokens can be used to purchase pets, fun items, toys, and consumables. The Wolpertinger and Pint-Sized Pachyderm can be picked up for 200 or 100 Brewfest Prize Tokens respectively. The Pandaren Brewpack toy and the Brewfest Pony Keg toy are 100 Brewfest Prize Tokens each while the Brewfest Pony Keg toy is 200 Brewfest Prize Tokens.
Of course, the monthly Darkmoon Faire and the yearly Brewfest are just part of what players can expect in the month of September. Pirates’ Day is a day-long celebration where everyone is a pirate atop the roofs of Booty Bay, and the Harvest Festival is a time to remember World of Warcraft heroes like Uther Lightbringer and Grommash Hellscream. Pirates’ Day is scheduled for September 19-20 while the Harvest Festival runs from September 21-28.
September will also usher in the ability to fly in Draenor with the 6.2.2 patch. As the Inquisitr reported , the patch is scheduled to deploy on September 1 barring any unforeseen circumstances. Players have had a few months to earn the meta-achievement for the privilege to fly this time around rather than paying gold per character. The achievement, although lengthy, grants access to a player’s account once completed so that all characters can fly in the current expansion.
