It’s been a good long while since fans have seen either Shinedown or Breaking Benjamin on the concert circuit tour or the Billboard charts, so the announcement of a coming fall tour accompanied by new albums is a welcome treat to fans of both Shinedown and Breaking Benjamin. As both bands prepare to heat things up with their distinctive sounds, there’s no doubt that their efforts throughout the fall concert season will result in the Breaking Benjamin and Shinedown brands becoming big buzz words in the coming new year.
Breaking Benjamin is just a little ahead of the game with the release of their Dark Before Dawn album, which has already debuted at No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 album chart. The new album also won the Loudwire June 2015 Release of the Month award, as voted by fans, while singles like “Failure” and “Angels Fall” are rocking their way up the charts.
Meanwhile, Shinedown revealed that their new album, Threat to Survival , will be released on September 18, though the “Cut the Chord” single is already making headlines.
Shinedown and Breaking Benjamin will kick off their tour on October 16 in Wichita, Kansas, with the double header working through a date-filled schedule, until they top it off with a finale on November 24 in Portland, Maine. Included in the Shinedown/Breaking Benjamin tour is a stop-off at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, California, on October 24, where both bands are among the headlining performers.
Preference will be given to members of Shinedown’s and Breaking Benjamin’s fan club members with a limited quantity of pre-sale discounted tickets available from 10:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday, August 11, through 10:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, August 13. General ticket sales for the Shinedown/Breaking Benjamin concerts will go on sale at Friday, August 14, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
As an added bonus, Sevendust will open concerts for all November dates . Much like Shinedown and Breaking Benjamin, Sevendust also has a new album, Kill the Flaw, which they are promoting through the concert tour and the release of their own single “Thank You.”
