Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul has married Lauren Parsekian, the co-founder of Kind Campaign to combat girl-on-girl bullying .
The 33-year-old actor proposed to the 24-year-old activist on New Year’s Eve in Paris. Paul has been quoted in GQ and People as calling Parsekian “the greatest woman that has ever existed. No offense to other women on this planet, but she is hands down the best.”
According to Us , the couple was married under the trees on a ranch in Malibu, California. Despite the outdoorsy setting, Aaron Paul and his groomsmen wore black tuxes. Parsekian wore a strapless gown with matching white boots.
Us said that a source told them that Paul and Parsekian had a 1920s Parisian carnival masquerade themed wedding. I don’t know what that is either, but apparently guests had to wear a masquerade mask or a domino to the reception — which was held in front of a giant Ferris wheel and an area that included other carnival games.
In a nod to their wildly romantic Paris engagement, which Paul told People involved dancing on the street to Edith Piaf, the groom’s cake was decorated to resemble the steps on that Paris street.
