Are Bravo sisters Kim and Kyle Richards still estranged? Sadly, it appears that way. According to an August 12 report by the Gossip Table , Kyle attended an event this weekend in The Hamptons, and while there, she was asked about her sister . However, rather than offer her thoughts, Kyle refused to speak of Kim at all.
As the Bravo sisters’ relationship appeared at odds, Lisa Vanderpump, their co-star on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , spoke out about Kim, suggesting the troubled reality star could use a “little help from her friends.”
Throughout the series’ fifth season, which began airing at the end of last year and wrapped early this year, the Bravo sisters were seen at odds. In addition to Brandi Glanville suggesting Kim distance herself from Kyle, who Glanville alleged was manipulating her, the Bravo sisters also feuded over the former home of their late mother, which Kim claimed Kyle stole from her (Meanwhile, Kyle insists she bought Kim’s stake in the home before selling it, along with her husband, Mauricio Umanksy).
Following many episodes of the Bravo sisters’ strained relationship, the two appeared at the reunion for Season 5, and things between them got even worse, with Kim claiming Kyle used Kim’s dog’s attack on her daughter for publicity. While Alexia Umansky reportedly underwent surgery and nearly lost her finger, Kim insisted she suffered nothing more than a little bite.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, there have been allegations of possibly putting Kim on a 5150 hold due to her ongoing sobriety issues , which have led to two arrests this year. However, if Kim is placed on a hold, the Bravo sisters’ relationship could become even further strained. Either way, the family is running out of options , at least according to Radar Online .
“The [Richards family] believes that Kim has three options: 1. She goes back to rehab. 2. She’s put on a 5150 hold. 3. She could end up hospitalized from alcohol poisoning or pill overdose.
She sells her part of the house their mom left them to Kyle because she’s broke, then she resents Kyle for it. It is too much for the family to take. Her daughters all married men who are now multi-millionaires; her nieces are MEGA rich – and she’s stealing from Target?? Then blames everyone else? [The Richards family] doesn’t know what to do anymore. It’s incredible.”
According to reports, the Bravo sisters will not be seen together on the upcoming sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills . Instead, Kyle will continue her full-time role, while Kim will reportedly not be seen in any capacity.
