Bradley Cooper went on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show, and at one point the segment turned a bit gossipy, as Stern tends to be with his celebrity subjects. When it came down to it, Howard really wanted to know what happened between Bradley Cooper and Taylor Swift .
Let’s back up, because this news item may not immediately come to mind, seeing as Taylor is linked to everyone under the sun. Back in 2013, several outlets, including Radar Online, ran a story that Cooper wasn’t into the idea of going out with Swift.
The story goes that the songstress, who previously dated Jake Gyllenhaal and John Mayer, was after Bradley Cooper in a big way. Taylor reportedly begged mutual friend Jennifer Lawrence to set them up, and when the Silver Linings Playbook co-star talked to Bradley he wasn’t interested. Ouch!
At the time, a source told Radar Online the following.
“Bradley has absolutely no intention of getting together with Taylor. First of all, her reputation precedes her. Bradley is very wary of dating someone who is a bit of a serial dater like Taylor.”

One of the other main reasons was her age. At the time she was 23-years-old, which was too young for the then 38-year-old actor, even though he’s now dating model Suki Waterhouse, 23.
“He thinks she’s far too young for him and wants to date someone his own age, not 16-years younger because he’s ready for something serious.”
When Stern asked if this rumor was true, Cooper said the following.
“It’s complete horse-s**t. I never got a call. Nothing.”
Despite the rumors being false, Stern really wants a Swift and Cooper romance to happen, and thinks the two could be a real power couple. When Bradley asked why he would say that, the radio personality said, “I can tell physically you would make beautiful children together.”

Cooper didn’t exactly buy it and laughed the romance rumors off. Perhaps he really is serious with Waterhouse? The actor recently opened up about settling down to Square Mile . The American Sniper actor said he would “love to be a father one day.”
“I’m sorry my father won’t be around to see his grandchildren, but he knows fatherhood was something I was looking forward to. That’s my next big step in life.”
