Brad Pitt seems far from convinced that Angelina Jolie can sustain a lengthy marriage again, it has been reported.
The actor, who learned that his estranged wife had filed for divorce last September, was said to have been stunned by the decision, but seemingly saw it coming at the same time, having later admitted he had been battling an alcohol addiction.
According to Hollywood Life , now that a year has passed, it seems evidently clear that Angelina and Brad Pitt want to move on from one another, but in doing so, the Hollywood star wonders how Jolie will sustain a healthy relationship.
A source for the outlet seems to insinuate that Brad Pitt’s relationship with the actress was far from healthy, with an insider adding that it took a lot for the twosome to last as long as they did; their marriage was far from perfect.
And given that her next wedding would evidently be Angie’s fourth marriage, Brad Pitt doesn’t see it happening for the 42-year-old, let alone sustaining a romance that lasted as long as their own.
Sources tell Hollywood Life that it was “unique” and “challenging” to stay committed in making the relationship with Jolie work for Brad Pitt, who also seemed to have an issue with some of Jolie’s family members.
It’s said that Angelina’s lifestyle is very tough for someone to deal with. Jolie is portrayed as being someone who has endless needs that the right man would need to put up with if he wanted to make a relationship work with the mother-of-six.
Another insider said that whoever she dates next, that man will have to give up a lot in order to keep himself committed to Angelina’s needs, and while Brad Pitt hoped he could continue being that person for her, it seems their marriage is completely over.
Brad Pitt confirmed earlier this year that he had been seeking treatment for his alcohol addiction, having openly confessed to meeting his therapist multiple times a week.
And while his personal relationship with Angelina is back on track, Brad Pitt’s marriage with the actress is said to be officially over.
