Priyanka Chopra is already one of Bollywood’s most versatile stars, and new rumors indicate that the actress and former pageant winner could be the biggest crossover into Hollywood.

After a string of successful films, including Andaz and Aitraaz, and then a hit single in 2012’s “In My City,” the actress seems poised to cross a new bridge . She has signed on to star in a drama produced by ABC, playing an FBI agent in the show Quantico.

As Zee News reported, the role could be the start of a Hollywood breakout for the Bollywood star.

“PeeCee is now a global face, and is ready to shock her fans once again (albeit in a pleasant manner). The 32-year-old actress is gearing up for her big Hollywood television break. American show ‘Quantico’ by ABC will see her essay an FBI agent Alex Parrish, who is shown to be half Indian and half Caucasian.

For Priyanka, cracking a deal with the television conglomerate is a big move which speaks volumes about the talent and versatility she possesses as an actress. American thriller ‘Quantico’, which will start airing sometime in the later half of the year, has kept all the curious eyes set on PeeCee. Her performance will definitely be rated and critics will have their mighty pen in place to dole out judgements.”

Chopra first made her name on the international scene, winning the 2000 Miss World and Miss World Continental Queen of Beauty—Asia & Oceania, only the fifth Indian ever to take the title. While rumors indicate a big international break for the Bollywood star, she still has a lot of work in Hindi films, as well. There are rumors that she could play the leading lady in Salman Khan’s upcoming movie, Sultan. Initial reports indicated that Kangana Ranaut would take the part, but she soon announced that she would not be available.

“Yes, Sultan’s dates are clashing with ‘Rangoon’ and I am already committed to Rangoon,” Ranaut said, via to DNA .

Fashion & Style reported that Chopra is now on the short list for the role.

“While rumors round that Chopra is being approached to do the film, no official announcement has been made.

The movie was apparently suppose to start filming early this year, but due to Salman’s busy schedule with ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan,’ shooting has been postponed.”

While rumors indicate more work for the Bollywood star, Priyanka Chopra is keeping an already busy schedule, filming the movie Bajirao Mastani .
