Bobby Flay’s divorce has been a source of continuous drama for the last six weeks. A majority of the rumors involve accusations of extramarital affairs and a hotly contested prenuptial agreement. However, the most recent point of contention is Bobby Flay’s career.
As reported by TMZ , Stephanie March is now taking credit for launching her estranged husband’s career. In fact, she reportedly asked a judge to throw out their prenuptial agreement, as she deserves to be compensated for her contributions.
According to reports, The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star said she was instrumental in the success of Flay’s restaurants. In addition to planning menus, March said she participated in the interior design of Bolo Bar & Restaurant and Bar Americain.
As stated in the prenuptial agreement , Stephanie March is entitled to a lump sum of $1 million and $5,000 per month in alimony. However, she reportedly asked a judge to throw the agreement out and award her a larger sum.
As reported by Fox411 , Bobby Flay’s divorce is being blamed on at least one extramarital affair , which reported lasted several years.

Stephanie March’s close friend, Maia Madison, claims Flay was having an affair with his assistant, 28-year-old Elyse Tirrell, for at least three years.

According to Madison, Stephanie March found out about the affair in late 2014.
“She came to my house and was sobbing uncontrollably… She said, ‘I can’t believe the last 10 years of my life have been a lie.’”
Through his spokeswoman, Julie Halpin, Bobby Flay vehemently denied the accusation.
“We will continue to refrain from responding to the continued efforts by certain parties to spread rumors and innuendo… all of this is being done in order to renegotiate a prenuptial agreement that was agreed to over a decade ago and never amended during the marriage.”
Although Madison blames Bobby Flay’s affair for the pending divorce, she admits the Food Network host tried to make the relationship work.
In March, Flay reportedly surprised his wife while she was vacationing in Amsterdam. Although the couple later attended at least one therapy session, they simply could not save their marriage.
It is unclear where the truth ends and the rumors begin. However Bobby Flay’s divorce will likely remain in spotlight.
