It seems that shots were fired, and the Blue Bloods spoiler preview from CBS reveals that Linda Reagan was injured. Most fans seem fairly confident she’ll make it through, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be a lot of worry and drama before that becomes clear.
The synopsis at TV Guide teases that Danny will fight to keep his emotions under control as he goes after a suspect. He also needs to connect with witnesses, but it seems that will be easier said than done.
The investigation into Deputy Chief Kent’s death, of course, continues. Fans are hoping that this is tied up before the end of the Season 5 finale. Many suspect that Linda’s shooting will also lead to some fresh and complicated family dynamic issues.
As was previously reported by the Inquisitr , it is believed that Method Man’s character , Mario Hunt, will be in this episode as well. Of course, there’s no telling what kind of shape he’ll be in when he’s found, or how he’s tracked down.
It’s not clear quite yet whether there’s a big cliffhanger at the end of this episode or not. Of course, fans are anxious to know if Blue Bloods was renewed or canceled. So far, CBS has yet to announce a decision. The ratings have been consistent and strong this season, so a Season 6 order seems likely.
According to TV By the Numbers , the series is more likely to be renewed than canceled. Over at TVLine , they’re calling a Blue Bloods renewal a safe bet. While CBS has already dished out quite a few show renewals for next season, they have held off on announcing anything official on this one.
