Blake Lively is a new mom, and her friends say that she is simply a natural. According to E! News , Blake’s Gossip Girl co-star, Michelle Trachtenberg , talked about her friend’s new addition at the Art of Elysium’s eighth annual Heaven Gala , presented by Samsung Galaxy on Saturday night. While the actress was careful not to give too much information away, she did praise her friend, and said that Blake will be a great mom because she has always been “maternal.”
“I congratulate anyone who has a baby! I think throughout my many years with Blake she has always exuded charm and exquisite elegance and a maternal side. So I think she’s definitely meant to be a mother,” said Trachtenberg.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds welcomed a baby (rumored to be a girl) last month. While the public doesn’t know too much about the baby, Blake and Ryan’s friends have visited quietly. No one has given away any information about the sex of the baby, his or her name, or who he or she looks like — but everyone seems to agree that the baby is beautiful, and that Blake is a great mom.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Blake’s Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants co-stars visited baby Reynolds in New York. The girls are all great friends, and all are being called “Auntie,” which shows just how close their relationship with Blake is.
“We’ve all been over. I’m very excited for her and Ryan, and to be an auntie. All of us are godmothers, so we are very happy. I took pictures with Ryan and the baby and sent them to Ken Kwapis, the Sisterhood director,” actress Amber Tamblyn said.
Another Blake Lively pal had wonderful things to say about the new baby. According to Just Jared , actress Jessica Szohr talked about Blake and Ryan’s offspring while at NBC Universal’s 2015 Winter TCA Tour – Day 1 held at The Langham Huntington Hotel and Spa on Thursday.
“I have seen pictures. And of course, I didn’t expect anything else — beautiful! Blake has a very motherly tone to her. Even when we were on set. She’s gonna be a great mom. I have no doubt,” said Szohr.
Fans are hoping that Blake and Ryan will share a photo of their baby soon. Although they are private, the two chose to announce their pregnancy on social media via Blake’s company Preserve . Many feel that the baby’s first photo will come by way of social media also.
