A pack of Bikers attacked a man driving a Range Rover SUV after he accidentally hit one of them. The group then surrounded the SUV making it almost impossible for the driver to escape.
The incident took place during an annual bikers’ event in New York City on Sunday afternoon. The bikers attack on the SUV was captured by a helmet camera worn by one of the group.
The helmet-cam video which was posted on Liveleak.com by one of the bikers, shows the SUV driver ploughing through a group of the motorcyclists in a panicked attempt to get away from them and avoid attack. The driver had his wife and five-year old son in the car at the time.
The video clip , as you can see for yourself above, lasts for roughly six minutes and also shows the SUV hitting another motorcycle after it is chased by the group. The SUV then stops at a traffic light and bikers can be seen approaching the vehicle and smashing the drivers window before attempting to smash the rear window.
Not long after the video emerged on the internet a number of comments were posted by people offering their opinion on the incident. One person posted: “I would do exactly the same thing. They’re intimidating him and he’s probably fearing for his life.”
Another poster named Zacarra, said that the driver acted in self-defense: “Did you see the biker break (sic) check him in the beginning. This poor guy was running for his life from the start.”
