Big Brother 19 featured three showmances, but the one that seemed least likely to survive outside of the CBS summertime house still seems to be going strong. Big Brother fans may remember that Elena Davies expressed doubt about continuing her showmance with Mark Jansen outside of the BB19 house. But nearly two months after the CBS reality show wrapped, Marlena is still going strong.
In a new interview with University of Buffalo’s Spectrum , Mark Jansen revealed that he tried out for Big Brother four years in a row before he was cast on the show. It turns out Jansen’s long-awaited casting worked out for him. Even though he didn’t win the $500,000 grand prize, he met his soulmate on the show. It seems that things have become very serious for the Big Brother lovebirds.
In the interview, Mark Jansen revealed that he plans to move from New York to Texas with Elena Davies to start a fitness training and motivational speaking program. While the move-in scoop means things have turned serious, a quick glance at Mark Jansen’s social media pages shows plenty of Marlena PDA. Mark documented the couple’s recent trip to New York City on his Instagram page, captioning a photo of himself and his “queen” Elena. Mark also refers to Elena as his girlfriend in his sweet social media posts.
But when they were in the Big Brother house, fans weren’t sure what to make of Mark and Elena. In fact, while Jansen fell hard for the blonde beauty, Davies temporarily distanced herself from her Big Brother showmance. At one point, Elena even told Mark it wouldn’t be a good idea to continue their relationship outside of the Big Brother house. During one particularly cringe-worthy conversation, Davies told Jansen that she was “no good” for him and she admitted that she could break his heart.
“Be careful of me,” Elena said. “I’m horrible.”

Elena Davies later told Entertainment Tonight she had concerns about moving forward with Mark in the real world. Clearly, Elena has reconciled those feelings as she makes plans to live with Mark in her hometown.
