Better Call Saul actor Bob Odenkirk dropped a bombshell in a recent interview with the Huffington Post about the potential cameos for Breaking Bad actors Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul.
The chances to see Breaking Bad ‘s Walter White in a cameo appearance on Better Call Saul are “nil,” Bob Odenkirk said in the email exchange with his interviewer.
“Stop hoping. Stop referencing Breaking Bad … it hasn’t happened yet… this show is THIS show, and it’s full and complex and the stakes are different and it’s a helluva unique and rich experience.”
Bob was just as candid about which characters he would like to see return from Breaking Bad and appear on Better Call Saul . “None or all,” Odenkirk wrote, adding “I’m on this show and enjoying it. Join me!”

While a Bryan Cranston cameo may not be in the works anytime soon, the cast from Better Call Saul hinted that more characters from Breaking Bad will be appearing in future episodes. Variety quoted Michael Mando, who plays Nacho Vargo, as having said fans will continue to see Easter eggs linking Breaking Bad to the current AMC TV series.
“When we found out who we were working with and who we saw, our jaws just dropped. I think the fans are going to be very happy.”
The first season of Better Call Saul introduced viewers to Jimmy McGill, the character Bob Odenkirk brings to life before turning into Saul Goodman. From the looks of trailers for the second season, Better Call Saul viewers can expect to see the transformation into the character they know from the Breaking Bad days. As Movie Fone reported, the Jimmy McGill character is breaking bad in upcoming episodes.

The same award-winning creative team behind Breaking Bad , Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, returned for Better Call Saul. Thus far, the writers have added to their impressive mantle at the 2016 Writers Guild Awards for Best Episodic Drama.
Bob is extremely happy to have the talented team working with him. In describing his interaction with Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, Odenkirk wrote that he and his Better Call Saul co-creators have a strong working relationship.
“I like spit-balling with Vince and Peter Gould, who co-created the show, but I half-hope they completely ignore me and steamroll any ideas I pitch deep into the ground. I want to read something surprising when I read the scripts, I want to see sides to the character that I could never have guessed at, and I like the challenge of linking up new layers to what we’ve already established.”
Better Call Saulis not the only upcoming cinematic work viewers will see Odenkirk in for 2016. Netflix has picked upthe full-length feature Girlfriend’s Day, a film that will star Bob as a struggling greeting card writertrying to clear his name in a murder investigation. The movie co-stars veteran actresses Amber Tamblynand Orange Is The New Blackcast member Natasha Lyonne.
For Bob Odenkirk, the movie is significantly different than the drama surrounding his character on Better Call Saul or Breaking Bad . In returning to his sketch comedy roots, Bob co-wrote Girlfriend’s Day with comedy in mind.
“It’s a sweet and funny little cupcake of a movie, made mostly of frosting… I hope you enjoy it, I sure had fun making it.”
Although the series has been off the air for quite some time, Breaking Bad continues to be a popular show. Last year, two houses that appeared in the TV series went on the market , including the home Jesse Pinkman lived in throughout most of the show, the Inquisitr reported.
