Evelyn Lozada’s not letting Wendy Williams slide. The 49-year-old media personality and talk show host is widely known for hitting below the belt with her proverbial jabs. Just in the past couple months alone, Williams has taken jabs at Keyshia Cole, T.I.’s wife Tiny, and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams. Now, it looks as if she’s put her foot in her mouth yet again.
This time she aimed at Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada. For those who missed it, Lozada and her fiancé LA Dodgers star outfielder Carl Crawford welcomed a baby boy, Carl Leo, on Saturday, March 22. So, Williams decided to congratulate the reality TV star on the birth of her son, but of course, she had to take a subliminal jab at Lozada in the process. While Williams did give Lozada a laudatory shout out, she also referred to her newborn son as a “cash register,” insinuated that the 38-year-old Latino is a gold digger.
“I want to congratulate Evelyn Lozada. Evelyn gave birth to a cash register, I mean, a baby boy, with her fiancé, the $142 million Carl Crawford,” Williams dished to the audience. “I didn’t mean to make that cash register joke, but you see why it’s easy to be said. Evelyn girl, congratulations.”
“And Carl, Carl like a lot of sports players and a lot of artists, he’s not a bad-looking man, but he certainly wasn’t getting the likes of an Evelyn Lozada if he wasn’t playing baseball. … Evelyn you get yourself a little apron and a little Epsom salt to make sure your man’s joint are all taken care of, and take care of your cash register.”
Although Williams tried to casually slip the insult into the conversation, it definitely didn’t go unnoticed. Of course, it was “typical Wendy Williams.” However, this time she may have taken it a bit to far. To say the least, the Inner Circle author definitely wasn’t amused.
So, Ev decided to go for her jugular by outing Williams’ husband. Earlier today, Lozada took to Twitter to let Williams have it. In a series of tweets, Lozada fired off about Williams’ husband, Kevin Hunter. She revealed that Hunter had been a frequent shopper at her Miami-based designer shoe store Dulce. However, he wasn’t buying shoes for Williams. He was shopping for another woman. She even specified which shoe he purchased for the other woman!

Unfortunately, its no secret that Williams’ husband has cheated on her in the past. So, Lozada’s bashing Twitter rant may definitely have merit. Lozada hopes that Hunter visits her Los Angeles store when it opens. Wendy Williams has yet to respond to the speculation surrounding her husband’s alleged infidelity.
