Bales Of Pot Tossed Out SUV Windows During 100 MPH Police Chase [Video]

Imagine yourself driving along the highway, maybe listening to your favorite tunes on the radio, when all of a sudden from out of nowhere flies a huge bale of marijuana past your car. It’s almost as odd as seeing the cow flying by in the movie Twister .

Only this wasn’t the scene from a movie — it was reality on Interstate 8 in Arizona. The New York Daily News reports that two drug runners, Mario Perez-Paz, 43, and Juan Aguilar-Zavala, 21, thought they could outrun the police and dump the evidence as they raced at speeds over 100 mph.

Much to their dismay, the police dashboard camera caught it all on video, which actually makes for good entertainment.

What makes matters even more interesting is the fact that as the chase continued down the interstate, the police lost most of their evidence. Passing motorists who saw the bales of pot tumbling down the freeway decided to stop and pick it up, as reported by WTSP .

According to Jim Knupp, a Pinal County Sheriff’s Office spokesman, it all started when a deputy spotted the white Trailblazer speeding down the road. When the deputy attempted to stop the SUV for speeding, the suspects pushed harder on the gas pedal, inciting a full-blown chase involving multiple cops. Eventually, spike strips were deployed, deflating the suspects’ tires, according to WTSP .

Mario and Juan weren’t ready to give up just yet. The two suspects jumped out of the Trailblazer and began running away from the police, but they weren’t quite fast enough and were caught and ultimately arrested.

As the men were questioned, they gave information to the police that led them to a stash house, where they found 375 pounds of marijuana , along with 20 illegal immigrants from Guatemala and Mexico.

Mario and Juan are currently in the Pinal County Sheriff’s Jail with charges against them, including “conspiring to transport drugs for sale” and “unlawful flight from law enforcement,” as reported by the New York Daily News .
