Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul fell in love on Bachelor in Paradise this past summer, and they even got engaged in the show’s finale. Lacy and Marcus don’t have to hide their relationship any longer, and fans are anxious to know how things are going for them. By the looks of things, Marcus and Lacy are doing really well, and they definitely seem to be planning for the future.
Though for the moment Lacy and Marcus live in separate states, they are seeing quite a bit of one another. Lacy flew to Texas for the weekend to be with Marcus, and it looks like she’s staying for at least a few days. Faddoul posted on Twitter that she was flying from Santa Ana, California, to Dallas, Texas, which of course is where Grodd lives. When a fan asked if she’d be at an event Marcus is doing on Monday, she confirmed she would be there.
Lacy also shared a photo on Instagram that seems to be from the Bachelor in Paradise couple’s time together this weekend. The photo shows Lacy, Marcus, and a puppy, and she said she was watching the show finale with her loves in Texas. Fans have really fallen for this couple, as the photo garnered more than 15,000 “likes” in about a day.
While it seemed like a very fast engagement, Marcus and Lacy stand by the decision. As Bachelor in Paradise fans know, once Grodd and Faddoul connected and committed to pursuing a relationship with one another, neither of them ever considered anybody else. They spent essentially every minute of their time together throughout the majority of the show’s filming. In addition, they saw one another frequently while they waited for the finale to air. Lacy is planning to move to Dallas, and the two say they are looking at getting married in about a year.
While some doubted this relationship given the fact that it started filming just weeks after Marcus was eliminated by Andi Dorfman during The Bachelorette , something just clicked for the couple. Fans will have to wait a while to see if this relationship created in paradise really leads to a walk down the aisle, but so far things look good. While Sarah Herron and Robert Graham fizzled and weren’t able to reconnect after filming, Michelle Money and Cody Sattler remain together and in love as well.
Bachelor in Paradise Season 2 will be coming next summer, and fans cannot wait to see who will show up looking for love. Will there be another engagement like what viewers saw with Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul?
