Josh and Anna Duggar, also known as the D.C. Duggars, are expecting their fourth child . Josh recently revealed Anna Duggar’s due date and spoke about life in Washington D.C.
Josh Duggar had an interview with the Washington Post to discuss his life in Washington D.C. However, with the couple’s recent announcement that they were expecting their fourth child, the interview quickly turned to family size and future baby plans.
Josh notes that Anna is due in early June of 2015. Josh says that they are already discussing birth plans and expectations , but notes that this will be their first child born outside of Arkansas. Since the couple has never had a child in Washington D.C., they are still mulling over all the details and trying to determine if they want to have a homebirth or hospital birth this time around. With number four on the way, many are wondering if the D.C. Duggars are planning on having a double-digit clan of their own. Josh was quick to deflect that question noting that Anna usually answers that one.
“I usually let my wife answer that. I’ll just say that we’ve got the hashtag “#4kids” for now.”

It wasn’t just family size that was a topic of discussion for the political Duggar. Many have speculated that Josh’s work as the executive director of FRC Action, the political arm of the conservative Christian Family Research Council, was just a grooming tool for a move to the political arena. However, Josh claims he has no desire to run for office, but instead is happy to support those candidates “doing the right thing.”
“Politics is quite a game — it puts things in perspective… I’m not planning to run anytime soon. My focus is supporting those people who are doing the right thing.”
Though he is not currently interested in entering the realm of politics, he didn’t leave it off the table entirely. In his answer, he notes he is not “planning to run anytime soon.” However, it would not be far-fetched to see him make a swift transition to a run for office following his work with FRC Action. Josh’s father, Jim Bob Duggar, held office in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He also had an unsuccessful fun for Senate.
