Al Roker, famous weatherman known for his on-air jokes, has been ordered to stop being so silly on the air. According to Page Six , NBC execs are tired of the popular weatherman’s inappropriate and awkward jokes and have asked him to tone it down. The request comes just after the Today s how clean-up involving the firing of a high ranking executive.

Al Roker has a history of making bizarre jokes on live air. In 2013, NBC officials were left with their mouths hanging open after Al Roker admitted that he soiled his pants after visiting the White House. The story was told in an interview with Dr. Nancy Snyderman on Dateline . Roker was invited to the White House in 2002, not long after he had gastric bypass surgery to lose weight. Al Roker described the embarrassing moment this way, as told in a previous TMZ article.

“I probably went off and ate something I wasn’t supposed to. And as I’m walking to the press room, [I’m thinking] well, I gotta pass a little gas here. I’m walking by myself. Who’s gonna know? Only a little something extra came out. I pooped my pants.”

More than two years ago funny weatherman Al Roker made a snide remark on air, hinting at the firing of Ann Curry and Matt Lauer’s alleged part in it. During an interview Matt Lauer joked that the tradition in New York was to throw a member of the team in the Hudson River, to which Roker responded that it was different than Today ‘s tradition of throwing each other under the bus.

Al Roker’s other jokes include wanting to see Bill Clinton pop David Gregory in the face, according to N ewsbusters .

Sources say that Al Roker is agreeable and plans to be more careful about what he says live on air before he says it. Last week, The Inquisitr reported that Al Roker set a new Guinness World Record for a 34- hour continuous live weather broadcast to raise money for a fundraiser.
