Adam Levine is selling a piece of his former bachelor lifestyle. The Maroon 5 heartthrob, who’s expecting a baby girl with wife Behati Prinsloo this fall, has listed his Beverly Hills bachelor pad for $17.5 million, according to Curbed . And Levine is looking to make a decent profit, as the home is listed for nearly four times what he paid for it when he bought it in 2012.

According to Variety , Adam Levine bought the single-story home in October 2012 for $4.83 million. The 7,100 square foot house boasts five bedrooms and 7 baths on 3.66-acres. There’s also an open floor plan with cathedral-style ceilings, skylights, and a striking great room that features a fireplace made of river rock.

In addition, there’s a chef’s kitchen done in Zebrawood, a media room, a library plus a separate gym/spa facility, a swimming pool, a championship-sized tennis court, and a custom two-story “car collector’s garage” that comes complete with an elevated car lift. Sliding walls of glass open to the property’s plush grounds and the stunning views of the surrounding Benedict Canyon.

Levine’s 1940’s ranch style home is a historical estate known as the “Benedict House.” The house is located in the exclusive gated Wallingford Estates, which is home to only 14 other properties.

Levine is unloading his old real estate as he prepares for his first child with his Victoria’s Secret model wife. In April, Adam listed his New York City loft for $5.5 million, but Trulia reports that Levine and his wife pulled the SoHo listing off the market and are instead focusing on selling the West Coast place.

Adam Levine previously talked to Architectural Digest about what prompted him to buy his first home and how he came up with his distinctive decorating style. After Levine refurbished the digs with Haddaway’s help, he outfitted it with mid-century design classics.

“Furnishing a home is no different than going into the studio and making music,” Levine said at the time. “You want to make sure you’ve pared down all the extra details so that in the end, every stitch has a context uniquely yours.”

Levine revealed that in the early days of Maroon 5, he was sharing a house with roommates and renting a bedroom for $800 a month. Adam ultimately had to give up his room rental when he went on tour because he didn’t have the money to keep paying the rent while he wasn’t living there. Luckily, the touring paid off and Levine became a multi-platinum star.

“I suddenly had a career,” Adam said, “but nowhere to live.”

Adam Levine also detailed a couple of bachelor-style touches that he brought into his first home, like a Philippe Starck–designed bedside lamp shaped like an AK-47.

“I blame it on Lenny Kravitz,” Levine revealed to AD . “He had one in his apartment in Paris when we were doing a tour there, and I knew I had to get one. It took me months to track it down.”

In addition, Levine went to the dark side with thick burgundy curtains that gave his place darkness even in the middle of the day.

“My job means I work late,” Adam explained. “These ensure I get some sleep.”

While Adam Levine long lived the bachelor life, his personal style has always been far from it. In fact, even his The Voice co-star Blake Shelton once joked to Men’s Journal that he gets frustrated with Adam because he doesn’t act like a typical rock star.
