Adam Levine is engaged to Victoria’s Secret angel Behati Prinsloo in a surprise move that I bet most of you totally didn’t see coming. E Online said that The Voice judge’s rep had confirmed the engagement in the media on Tuesday night.
However, he actually popped the question to the 24-year-old model sometime this weekend in Los Angeles.
The couple met in June of last year, but they’ve had their troubles and even a recent separation. Levine had been seen with someone else, while Prinsloo had been seen on her own and refusing to answer questions about the relationship.
People carried this announcement from the pair:
“Adam Levine and his girlfriend Behati Prinsloo are excited to announce they are engaged to be married. The couple recently reunited and Adam proposed this weekend in Los Angeles.”
So they’re not giving out a lot of details about what brought them back together just yet.
Maybe it was just his last chance at a summer fling, but Adam Levine was photographed in June on a vacation in Los Cabos, Mexico with 21-year-old Sports Illustrated model Nina Agdal. A shirtless Levine played beach volleyball with a string bikini clad Agdal — and I posted a video photo album of the romantic-looking play date .
But I did speculate at the time that Levine didn’t seem to be too serious about his latest model. It looked like they were just having fun.
