With the Acer A1 Smartphone expected for an October 6th release we we’re expecting it to go up for pre-order at an earlier time, but now with only a few weeks to go it’s finally arrived for order taking at eXpansys Germany .
The current cost of €389.99 is a bit steep and the exact shipping date is still unknown.
However, the smartphone does feature a snappy 768Mhz processor, comes equipped with Google Android 2.0 “Donut” and offers an impressive 512mb RAM. The phone also features a 3.5″ WVGA touchscreen display and has a built-in GPS receiver.
Throw in 3G (850/1900/2100mHz), Bluetooth 2.0 + A2DP and WiFi alongside a 5MP camera and you’re left with an impressive machine that delivers on power, style and the little “extras” that Android phone users have come to expect.
