“AC/DC Radio,” a special, limited-time SiriusXM channel, will air Wednesday, November 26 through Sunday, December 7 on SiriusXM’s channel 25, Classic Rewind, less than a week before the release of AC/DC’s Rock or Bust album.

In addition to the channel launch, frontman Brian Johnson and guitarist Angus Young will will sit down and answer questions from a SiriusXM studio audience that includes fans of the band and SiriusXM listeners. Grammy award winner, and producer of Rock or Bust , Brendan O’Brien will act as moderator of the sit-down. The “Town Hall with AC/DC” will air Thursday, November 27 at 12 p.m. ET on “AC/DC Radio.”

The new and exclusive channel will feature music from AC/DC’s entire career, including cuts from the band’s latest album, Rock or Bust , which is slated for release on Tuesday, December 2. Fans can access “AC/DC Radio” via channel 25, the Classic Rewind channel, and the SiriusXM Internet Radio App, as well as listen online at the SiriusXM website.

The “AC/DC Radio” channel launches less than a week away from the scheduled release of Rock or Bust , the band’s first album since its 2008 Black Ice album , which has sold 8 million copies worldwide. The latest album does not include founding member Malcolm Young , who left the band earlier this year due to health issues. In Malcolm’s place his nephew, Stevie Young, plays rhythm guitar on the album.

For fans that can’t wait for the album to hit stores, the band announced yesterday on its official AC/DC Facebook page that the entire Rock or Bust album is now available on iTunes.

Brian Johnson recently confirmed the band’s plan to kickoff a world tour in 2015 . Although drummer Phil Rudd is dealing with charges stemming from Rudd’s arrest earlier this month, AC/DC has issued an official statement that the band intends to carry on with the tour without Rudd, if necessary.

The “Town Hall with AC/DC” is part of the Sirius “Town Hall” series in which entertainers sit down in the studio to answer questions from fans and SiriusXM listeners. “AC/DC Radio” is one of many SiriusXM channels that feature well-known artists, such as Elvis Radio, Pearl Jam Radio, B.B. King’s Bluesville, and the Grateful Dead channel.

As well as playing songs from AC/DC during this special launch, Sirius plans to continue airing the regular classic rock music normally found on the Classic Rewind channel.
