Blake Lively showed off a massive engagement ring during her first red carpet appearance since she became Mrs. Ryan Reynolds last month.
Lively attended the Chanel Bijoux De Diamante 80th Anniversary bash in New York City on Tuesday night dressed in a stunning blue-silver and pink dress, reports The New York Daily News .
While the actress initially kept her hands inside the pockets of her Chanel Couture dress, she eventually relented, flashing her impressive engagement and wedding rings to the waiting crowd.
The rings were created by celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz and feature a flawless, light pink oval diamond that is supported by a band of small diamonds. A spokesperson for Schwartz stated previously that Reynolds helped design the setting, according to PEOPLE . The spokesperson stated:
“Ryan chose Lorraine Schwartz to help him find a flawless, light pink oval diamond. They worked together to design a custom setting in rose gold and pave diamonds with a nod to deco.”
Ryan Reynolds reportedly skipped out on a red carpet appearance but couldn’t stop staring at his new wife from across the room before the two met up. Lively and Reynolds seemingly can’t get enough of each other, especially since their wedding on September 9 in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
Martha Stewart Weddings , who will feature more details from the stars’ nuptials in its December issue, stated, “From the heartfelt ceremony to the fun-filled carnival hour and elegant reception, it was a truly enchanting celebration.”
Along with celebrating their recent wedding, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds attended the wedding of the actresses’ co-star Amber Tamblyn and actor David Cross on Saturday.
