The Normans may have been onto something with that big ol’ tapestry they knocked up , because one gamer has been sufficiently inspired to make a Mario-themed version.
This labour of love, a work-in-progress that will eventually end up measuring 620cm x 40cm, is by Norwegian Nintendo nut Elsa, and depicts the iconic World 1-1 level from Super Mario Bros. Yep, right down to the last pixel. A couple more pictures for you here, and tons more at Elsa’s blog :
