The 2013 TCA Awards too place in Beverly Hills on Saturday and Breaking Bad took top honors. The series is about a chemistry teacher turned bad in order to support his family.
Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, from the Comedy Central show Key & Peele hosted the Television Critics Association awards which recognized the best of the best in television this year.
The critically acclaimed show Breaking Bad won program of the year as it heads into its last few episodes prior to the series finale.
Other programs recognized were The Americans, Game Of Thrones , Parks And Recreation, and Bunheads which ABC Family recently decided to cancel.
In the acting categories Louis C.K. of FX’s Louie and Tatiana Maslany,were recognized by the 220 members that make up the Critics organization.
The Critics Awards usually honors television performances which are not necessarily recognized by the Emmys making them different to their better known counterpart.
In an interesting development The Big Bang Theory and Parks And Recreation tied for the Outstanding Achievement in Comedy category.
