Glee actress Heather Morris is pregnant. The 26-year old actress’ pregnancy was revealed to Us Weekly on Wednesday by an unnamed source.
According to the insider, “She’s a little more than three months along and starting to show.”
Morris, a former backup dancer for Beyonce, has been with her longtime boyfriend Taylor Hubbell since high school.
Heather Morris’ pregnancy shouldn’t come as a surprise to her fans. The actress has said many times in the past that she was eager to start a family with Taylor. Morris has said she would be willing to step away from acting for a while if that’s what it took to start a family of her very own.
During an interview with Fitness magazine in 2011, Morris revealed: “I want to marry Taylor and have kids with him. I love acting, but if it affects my relationship, then I won’t continue.”
The inside source tells US Weekly of the pregnancy, “It was totally unexpected, but they are incredibly happy and excited .”
Heather Morris’ pregnancy isn’t going to send the actress scurrying down the aisle just for the sake of the baby. Although, speculation has surfaced that Morris and Hubbell have been thinking about finally tying the knot.
In any case, we could see a lot of high shots on camera from Morris. Then again Glee , no stranger to controversy, could have its first actually pregnant Glee member in real life. Given her history of bisexuality on the show, her pregnancy could become a hot topic for viewers.
In the meantime, we will be on high alert for baby bump spottings, both in real-life and on the show. It’s always fun to see how directors go about hiding a baby bump during shooting.
