Kate Hudson and Muse singer Matt Bellamy are expecting a baby, reports Us Magazine .
Hudson and Bellamy have been dating for nine months, and the pregnancy was not planned, a source close to the actress says. However, Hudson is said to be pleased with the turn of events:
The insider adds that the actress, who has been dating the Muse frontman, 32, for nine months, is stoked for her 7-year-old son Ryder (with ex-husband Chris Robinson, 44) to have a little playmate.
“She is happy for Ryder to finally have a brother or sister,” says the source.
Hudson is reportedly 14 weeks into the pregnancy. Although she is said to have wanted to have more children, Hudson spoke in an interview of reticence to marry again after her divorce from Robinson. Hudson said:
“It’s definitely not something I’m looking for. But the divorce doesn’t put me off. I’ll just see what happens… I think a lot of times people are terrified of love and stop themselves from experiencing it. I don’t ever want to get that jaded. I do believe in love. I believe that when you really open yourself up to love, it’s the most beautiful thing.”
Hudson’s due date should be in early summer.
