Even though Kate Middleton and Prince William are trying to take care of Prince George as any normal parents would, they still need someone to watch over baby at times.
Multiple sources are confirming that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are hiring a very trusted person to take care of the future king, who is almost two-months-old.
According to Us Weekly , the royal couple has hired 71-year-old Jesse Webb, the same nanny who Princess Diana and Prince Charles hired to take care of William and his brother Harry.
Don’t think that they have gone back on their word of being hands-on parents. She will only work for them on a part-time basis.
One of the sources explains that she will assist the couple on overseas trips they would take with George or when they have engagements outside of London.
“Granny Nanny” as she is known by the British public was on duty on Thursday when Kate Middleton and Prince William attended their first official engagement at the Tusk Conservation Awards at The Royal Society in London.
According to guests attending the ceremony the couple said that was the first time they had left George with Webb.
“This is actually our first evening out without him,” William said in an address during the bash. “So please excuse us if you see us nervously casting cheeky glances at our mobile phones to check all is well back home.”
Like any parents of a newborn they were probably wondering how the little one was doing with his new caregiver.
Prince George was born on July 22 at St. Mary’s Hospital after weeks of speculation about Kate’s due date.
Prince William recently completed his tour of duty at the Royal Air Force base in Anglesey, Wales. He and Kate Middleton are expected to move to their permanent residence at Kensington Palace soon.
