Miley Cyrus has made critical comments throughout specific moments in her early career, and she can now add to her list after a recent interview with Rolling Stone Magazine . The pop star spoke about smoking marijuana to the delight of “stoners” across America.
When asked by Rolling Stone if she was a “stoner,” Cyrus replied, “You can’t ask someone that and expect them to say yes. I did a song with Snoop Dogg called ‘Ashtrays and Heartbreak,’ so people can put it together for themselves.”
She didn’t stop there as she went on to address the differences between marijuana and alcohol.
“I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana. People can be mad at me for saying that, but I don’t care,” she said. “I’ve seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I’ve never seen that happen with weed.”
It seems as if there’s no stopping Miley Cyrus from voicing her opinion on critical subjects in today’s society like that of marijuana. The drug is considered to be no more harmful than anything else by some people, but others still believe it’s the worst thing to hit the American public.
“As long as it isn’t illegal, there are far more dangerous things… And it’s legal in the state of California, so I’m happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be,” Cyrus added.
From “twerking” on stage to a Twitter war with Amanda Bynes , the former Hannah Montana star has surely received mixed reviews as of late. No matter how often she finds herself in the spotlight for odd, and sometimes crazy, incidents there will always be fans there to support her.
