Beyonce and pregnancy rumors seems to be par for the course, but this time sources have apparently confirmed the news.
While some reports speculate that the star is expecting her second child after snaps were taken of the 31-year-old at the Met Ball in New York City last week, others are said to come from chatter on blogs over onstage shots of the singer at her “Mrs. Carter Show” world tour.
Two things:
The reported ‘sources’ who “confirmed” the ‘pregnancy news’ did so to the New York Post . Secondly, the same outlet also reported the claims about blog talk.
The rumor mill spiked when Beyonce strapped her famous curves into a high-waisted Givenchy gown at the Met gala.
According to sources quoted by the New York Post , the “Halo” diva is allegedly pregnant with a sibling for she and husband Jay-Z’s daughter Blue Ivy.
Whether the claims are true or not, it is true that Beyonce is thinking about a new baby.
“I would like more children. I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love[d] being [a] big sister, “ she told Good Morning America during the London leg of her tour .
“And I am very protective. I just want to make sure that she [Blue Ivy] can have a healthy, safe, normal life … in the back of my mind, she’s my priority.”
“And life is completely different now. I feel really, really just lucky that I can still do what I love, and now have a way bigger meaning. And that’s to be her mother.”
Beyonce, who has been wowing crowds on her tour, played Dublin, Ireland last night and will perform in Belgium on May 14, before other territories in Europe and a stateside return.
The Houston native recently lent her voice to the role of “Queen Tara” in the Chris Wedge directed animated fantasy film Epic , which also features the voices of Amanda Seyfried, Colin Farrell, Christoph Waltz, Pitbull, and Steven Tyler.
As yet there has been no comment from Beyoncé’s reps on the pregnancy rumors.
