Selena Gomez invited the world to “Come and Get It” today as she dropped a video teaser for her upcoming single of the same name.
The 20-year-old, who recently featured in a close up of a different kind with her back-on again boyfriend Justin Bieber, will exclusively premiere her video for the track during “MTV First: Selena Gomez” on Tuesday, May 7 at 7:53 pm. ET.
In the 30 second sneak peek , La Gomez continues her ongoing transformation from former Disney moppet to red hot siren, as she sways exotically in fields of fabric, fire special effects, come hither looks and softcore, red lippy shots.
Last night (April 29), Gomez tweeted a pretty risque still from the “Come and Get it” video shoot.
Topless and seemingly enraptured, the still shows the Spring Breakers actress being filmed by three wet-suited cameramen as she frolics about in the sea. It’s all very Breaking Dawn – Part 1 .
After the video premieres next week on MTV , Gomez will dish on the sofa for about 30 minutes to discuss shifts in the world’s economies, Kafka, and how red lipstick makes all of that better.
Only the last of these will probably be happening.
The future Ms. Bieber (if, like, they don’t break up next month), will also answer questions from her fans, otherwise known as ‘Selenators.’
The star will likely tease deets about her forthcoming summer album, and what fans can expect from her just announced “Stars Dance World Tour,” which is set to begin August 14 in Vancouver.
Back in January, Gomez said recording her fourth studio album wasn’t just about developing a harder, maturer sound in her music but also having fun.
“I think the older I’m getting, the more I’m just kind of like I’m cool to share my side of the stories as much as I can,” she told MTV News , adding , “so I’m having a lot of fun.”
