Jane Lynch’s estranged wife Dr. Lara Embry is asking for almost $94,000 in spousal support.

In legal documents obtained by TMZ , Embry said that Lynch’s average monthly income over the last three years has been $234,688. Embry said Lynch told her she had $400,000 in her savings and 401K combined, and owned her home.

Embry said, “Her income, investments and assets increased dramatically with her newfound acting success.” She also said that Lynch supported her during their marriage and paid for everything, including vacations.

According to Embry, she and Lynch spent roughly $40,000 on their credit cards each month. She also said she spends an average of $40,900 a month, despite making significantly less than her soon-to-be ex-wife.

Lynch is reportedly already providing Embry with support. Embry and her 10-year-old daughter, Haden, are living in the house that Lynch bought, while the Glee actress temporarily moved somewhere else. Embry said the couple spent $3 million for renovations to the house, and either wants the house or a 50 percent cut.

The couple did not have a prenup, meaning any assets acquired during the marriage will likely be split 50/50.

Jane Lynch and Dr. Lara Embry were married in a small ceremony in Sunderland, Massachusetts, on Memorial Day 2010. Same-sex marriage wasn’t legal in California at the time, and the 52-year-old actress and 44-year-old psychologist were registered as domestic partners.

The couple met in May 2009 at a fundraiser for the National Center for Lesbian Rights. Embry was being honored with the organization’s Justice Award, and Lynch was attending as a presenter. The couple announced their engagement in April 2010.

Lynch announced the couple’s divorce in June, and officially filed in July , citing “irreconcilable differences.” Embry asked for spousal support last month , and it was reported that Lynch had been fighting to end the court’s jurisdiction to award any kind of support.
