Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell have been engaged for a little over a week now. Their courtship was announced just a few months ago, and already they are ready to begin their life together as one. Duggar met Caldwell through the church they attend, and the two were getting to know one another several months before the courtship was ever made official. Talk of courting was sparked way back when Jinger Duggar got married last November, and while some may believe this courtship and engagement process was fast, the family is taught to court with a purpose.
There has been a lot of chatter about how Joseph Duggar proposed to Kendra Caldwell. It happened at the reception for Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth. Many people were outraged that Joseph would take away from his sister’s big day, calling the move tacky. As it turns out, it was planned several days in advance with Joy-Anna’s blessing. Because Kendra was a part of the recent wedding, she already has several ideas about what she wants for her special day. The couple has not yet settled on a date, but they are confirming the wedding will be this fall.
An exciting season is upon the entire Duggar family. Within the last year, two of their daughters have been married, and now it appears Joseph Duggar will be added to the married sibling’s group. Fans are excited about this wedding because it will be planned by Kendra Caldwell, and it is going to be different from what they have seen from the Duggar girls. There are some concerns about how much of it will be filmed as far as planning goes, especially because the Caldwells will be in charge. Both Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell have confirmed that they will remain in Arkansas after being married. They have no plans to move away and will continue to work with the church that they met through. While the possibility of being called away is there, the couple will do what they feel they are led to do.
