Kim and Kanye’s baby still has no legal name, but the parents are reportedly close to a decision on what to name their early arriving newborn.
Kim Kardashian gave birth on Saturday, close to five weeks before her due date in mid-July. Because they baby came earlier than planned, the parents reportedly haven’t come to a decision on the little girl’s name yet.
For now, Kim and Kanye seem happy that the baby came safely despite the early delivery.
“She was admitted with medical complications and her doctor made the decision that her baby needed to be delivered. Kim had a natural birth,” the source says. “If Kim would have had very serious complications, her doctor would have decided to do an emergency c-section instead.”
So far some details have trickled out about the yet-unnamed baby. Reports say she looks just like Kim, and her Kardashian sisters have already gushed about the newborn.
Khloe Kardashian wrote of her new niece:
“I can not even begin 2describe the miracle that is now apart of our family. Mommy/baby are healthy &resting. We appreciate all of the love.”
There is an idea of the direction of the name for Kim Kardashian’s baby. She reportedly revealed this week that the little girl will continue the Kardashian family tradition of starting names with a “K.”
Bookmakers are already placing odds on what the name could be for Kim and Kanye’s baby. Irish bookmaker Paddy Power also seemed to think Kim and Kanye would pick a “K” name . The bookmaker had good odds for Kay (20/1), Kim (8/1), and Kris (20/1). Paddy Power even gave it 25/1 odds that the publicity happy couple would name the baby after themselves — Kimye.
There are other “K” names Kim and Kanye could pick for their baby girl. Baby Center pointed out that Katelyn, which ranked No. 34 for girls in 2013, could be a good bet.
