They may be cripplingly naff, but Rock Band developer Harmonix claims Bon Jovi remains one of the most requested artists for the series. The band has appeared before in the Rock Band franchise – ‘Wanted Dead or Alive’ was in the original Rock Band , while ‘Livin’ on a Prayer’ (of course) popped up in Rock Band 2 .
Now fans of Rock Band and that bloke from Ally McBeal can get excited all over again. That’s because Bon Jovi will release their Greatest Hits collection as downloadable content for Rock Band 3 on November 9, the same day the album itself launches.
According to the press release in front of me, the band’s guitarist Richie Sambora says, “The great thing about Rock Band is it gets music to a whole new generation of people, which is totally amazing to me.” Thanks, Richie.
Rock Band 3 is out October 26.
