Adrienne Maloof and estranged husband Paul Nassif have worked out their differences in court, settling a custody battle that turned ugly over the last month. Under the new deal Adrienne will receive most of the time with the children.
Under terms of the agreement Adrienne will have weekdays and every other weekend with the couple’s three sons. Paul will have every other weekend including overnight stays.
A settlement was reached just 24 hours before the former couple were set to appear in court to argue their case.
The custody battle turned ugly when both Adrienne and Paul made allegations of child abuse. To solve their difference the former couple have agreed to employ full-time security personnel who will watch over the children at all times.
As we previously reported Adrienne, a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, accused her estranged husband, Nassif, of physical abuse. In one case she says Paul choked one of their boys in a fit of anger.
The temporary restraining order that was placed against Paul Nassif in September was set to expire on October 9. Under terms of the restraining order Paul Nassif was given no access to his children or ex-wife for a period of nearly three weeks.
After filing for divorce in August it was Paul Nassif who originally asked for full custody of the couple’s three children.
Further terms of the new agreement have not been revealed at this time. Given the heated anger felt between this former couple I have a feeling this is not the last court appearance we will hear about from Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif.
