Katherine Heigl has listed her home in Los Angeles, California for $2.659 million. The four-bedroom family home is build in the Southern Colonial-style and features two floors, French doors, high ceilings, and verandas.
Heigl has gone from a newlywed TV star to a fantastic big-screen actress and mom of two, all while living in the home she purchased in 2007, just after she married country singer Josh Kelly, reports Us Magazine .
The four-bedroom house is located in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Los Feliz and, according to the listing, also boasts 3.5 baths, as well as wood floors, a gourmet kitchen with top-of-the line stainless-steel appliances, and a fireplace in the living room.
Also located in the home is a spa-style master bath, while large verandas and lush gardens surround the home. Listing agent Dorothy Carter of Keller Williams Realty stated:
“Katie put a lot of money in the house and it’s in beautiful condition. It’s private and gated with a beautiful pool and would be perfect either as an entertaining house for a couple or as a family home.”
The Los Angeles Times notes that Katherine Heigl paid $2.55 million for the home in 2007, according to public records. Heigl and her husband have yet to decide where they are moving with their two little girls, though they appear to like the Los Feliz neighborhood, which is located less than three miles from the heart of Hollywood.
Carter explained, “Young Hollywood loves this area. They like the fact that they can go out there and people don’t bother them. They can disappear into the neighborhood and aren’t hounded by the paparazzi. It’s quiet, but if they want to go out they are close to Hollywood and Downtown, the hottest areas of L.A. right now.”
