Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden want to have a baby!
According to People Magazine , the actress and her musician husband are looking forward to starting a family together. Sources say that Cameron and Benji — who got married in January — are already thinking about expanding their household. Although the 42-year-old Bad Teacher star never seemed overly concerned with becoming a mom, it seems as though she’s had a major change of heart.
“[Cameron is] so happy being a wife, [and] both of them are eager to have children. [Cameron] will take things as they come, but don’t be surprised to see her calm down a bit and get in the best shape for a possible pregnancy,” shared a source.
And Cameron and Benji may already be trying for baby. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Diaz has pretty much cleared her schedule , and plans on taking a break from Hollywood for a while. Sources say that she wants to enjoy the process, and that she’s really going to focus on her health to ensure that she is healthy, and that her body is ready for a baby.
“Cameron Diaz is taking a sabbatical from Hollywood to be a wife and try to have a baby. All she wants is to stay home and enjoy this special time in her life,” shared a source.
According to Hello Magazine , family is very important to both Cameron and Benji. The report indicates that the couple recently purchased a home in the same neighborhood as Benji’s brother, Joel, and his wife, Nicole Richie (they have two children).
“I have a great family, so I’m lucky I’ve gotten to experience all the joys of having a family. I love kids, yeah,” Benji said during a recent interview.
Cameron and Benji could have baby news in the coming weeks — and there is always a chance that Cameron is already pregnant, but that the couple is waiting until she’s through her first trimester before making an announcement.
Pregnancy rumors have been creeping up on the newlyweds since they became engaged.
