As rumors swirl that Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are headed for a divorce, Joel takes to social media to show nothing but love for his wife.
Madden, 36, took to Instagram to quash the rumors saying that he’s divorcing his wife, Richie, 33. He shared a photo of himself along with the lavender-haired reality star.
The Good Charlotte rocker included the following caption: “Happy Mother’s Day to my best friend and partner in rhyme. Best wife, mother and friend a father and his kids could ever ask for.” The often private husband also included three red heart emojis at the end of his message.
Joel didn’t stop there. He also shared a photo of Nicole wearing a pair of socks with the couple’s faces on it. He included the following caption: “Sock game strong.” Fans commented that they were happy to see that the troubled couple was still working on their relationship.
After moving vans were seen outside their home in Los Angeles on Friday, an alleged source told Entertainment Tonight that the couple is still very much together. According to the source, Nicole and Joel are moving into the same private neighborhood as Joel’s brother Benji Madden and his wife Cameron Diaz. Joel was also photographed leaving the community later that day, according to the report.
This comes as no surprise to fans since Nicole is friends with Cameron. She introduced Benji and the actress, who got married in January.
Several headlines and reports claimed that Nicole and Joel were headed for a divorce in the near future. It also didn’t help the reports when the Candidly Nicole star was spotted without her wedding ring countless times when she was photographed in public. Nicole, who’s known for her colorful personality, looked glum during the times she was without her wedding ring. This lead to another report that claimed Nicole kicked Joel out of his house, which was the real reason for the moving trucks.
It seems like that report was just a rumor after all. The Inquisitr also previously reported about Nicole and Joel’s “ tense lunch ” last week. The quiet couple was seen wearing a look of frustration on their faces after they left the restaurant. That just fueled the divorce rumors even more, especially after a new report said that Nicole and Joel were “on the brink of divorce.”
