Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have raised their 19 kids according to their religion. The Duggar family is known for espousing the good news of the Bible in a very particular way. Not only do they stick to a very religion-based dress code, which bans pants and any skimpy clothing, but they also are known for censoring materials that are not in accordance with their beliefs. That means that most of the Hollywood movies are not allowed in the household. The good news is that there is a movie coming out that supports their worldview.

So it was no surprise when the Duggar family promoted Genesis: Paradise Lost , which is coming out in cinemas on November 13 and 16, depending on the region. To make sure that they support this cause, they shared the movie on their Facebook page, which has just a little under 1 million people following.

“We are looking forward to the release of GENESIS: PARADISE LOST! This film will bring the Bible to life as it walks through the amazing story of creation,” they wrote.

“We hope you too will see it on November 13th in a theater near you!”

It is not clear from the post whether they were paid to promote this movie, which may speak to a lot of their fans who subscribe to the same religion. But many of them also have found that the tickets are far too expensive for their large families to attend.

“Thank you for posting,” one fan wrote. “Would love to see this but sadly, out of our family’s price range. $16.14 each adds up quickly.”

The movie website assures Christians that the makers stuck to “proven science and biblical accuracy” to entertain the fellow believers.

“Stunning visual effects and field research invite audiences to explore the much-studied and debated opening chapters of the Bible,” the website read. “This highly-anticipated movie event will show in cinemas nationwide on Monday, November 13 at 7:00 p.m. local time.”

Many of the Christian families have young kids and the makers the film did not make their product unavailable to the young ones. In their FAQ section, they stated that they had a world premiere with “children from 5 years old and up in the theater” and that “everyone loved it.”

The Duggars are well known for segregating their kids by gender when it comes to taking them out. This summer, the boys got a special trip to the Midwest to see the Oshkosh airshow while the girls stayed at home. Then for Johannah’s birthday, the girls were treated to a luncheon with their mother.

Do you think the Duggars will choose which of their kids get to go see this movie? Do you think they will go see it at all or were they only paid to promote it? Let us know in the comments below.
