A Sri Lankan man has claimed that he has survived on nothing but fresh air for the past five years, stating that he hasn’t had anything to eat during this time.

Kirby de Lanerolle, a Breatharian, has insisted that he has only inhaled, light, wind, and the “vibrations of God.” Experts would be quick to disagree with this statement, as it is widely believed that you can only live without food for two months.

Kirby though insists that he is currently in excellent health and his lifestyle can actually reverse the ageing process, and he has also claimed that it could make immortal.

Kirby appeared on Taboo USA , where he explained, “There are energy sources out there that are greater than the food calories you are putting in your body. Calories come from photons and light and vibrations and wind. Anything can feed you if your energy centres are open.”

However, Kirby has admitted that over the last 10 months he has eaten seven meals, but he made sure that they only possessed 500 calories in them.

Kirby proclaimed, “The average human being eats three meals a day, 90 a month. Over ten months that’s 900 meals. I’ve had seven meals in ten months, and I can’t eat big amounts.”

He also added that eating real food makes him feel ill and extremely tired, stating, “In this consciousness, when I do eat food, it makes me feel very tired. And my alertness goes away when I eat now.”

Kirby has insisted that he now plans to teach his process to others, stating, “I have been called to teach this better and fuller life.”

Experts however have claimed that they are concerned for his well being as many people have died attempting to live like breatharians.

Do you think Kirby de Lanerolle is telling the truth?
