Earlier, the Inquisitr reported that Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani had an emotional meeting about their children, and now we know why. According to sources who spoke to E! , Rossdale is not happy that Blake Shelton is bonding with their three children, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo.
According to the source, “Gavin doesn’t agree with [Gwen] having a relationship with Blake, and he doesn’t like her bringing the kids around him.”
Due to Rossdale’s thoughts about Blake and his bonding with the children, a second source confirmed that this has sparked a rift between Gwen and Gavin. For Gavin it’s “hard for him to bear” that his children have “learned to love” Blake.
“If it were up to Gavin he would want to work it out with Gwen. He is still hurt it has turned out this way and now she is in love with another man.”

In Touch reported a similar story. While E! doesn’t mention the “secret” meeting between the two or the “emotional talk” the pair had about the children bonding with Blake, the two stories do match up. A source for In Touch said, “Gwen had a meeting with Gavin to discuss her relationship with Blake and how it will affect the children going forward. [Gavin] wants to be consulted on everything concerning the kids and the role that Blake is playing in their lives.”
As for what Blake thinks of everything, he’s “disgusted” with how Gavin treated Stefani throughout their marriage. It’s been rumored that Gavin constantly cheated on the No Doubt singer.
“[Blake] has nothing to do with Gavin. He can’t forgive someone who treated his lady that way.”
His more recent affair was the reason behind the split. Stefani had discovered that Rossdale was having an affair when his phone synced up to the family iPad and revealed racy messages he was sending the family nanny.
Of Blake’s relationship with Stefani’s sons and welcoming them to his house in Oklahoma, Shelton said the following.
“When they come out there, I don’t see them much because if they’re at my place in Oklahoma, they’re in the woods. I don’t know how to keep control of them.”
Of course, the bonding between Blake and Stefani’s sons keep those pregnancy rumors fresh. Of the latest rumor, Shelton said, “I read that we’re having twins in the latest tabloid, and I think you can fit two humans in there.”

The last we heard about Blake Shelton he was singing praises to his girlfriend Gwen Stefani, following their duet at the Billboard Music Awards. The Country crooner told Entertainment Tonight following the performance of their new song “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.”
“I just like being with her, but when she’s all dolled up and we go places, it’s always fun for me. If she was here right now, not one person here would be looking at anybody else but her. It’s just cool to know that’s who I came here with. That’s basically what [my new song ‘A Guy With a Girl’] is about. They may come up and talk to me, but it’s only because I’m one person over from her. Pretty cool.”
In the song, Shelton sings the following.
“I’m just the guy with the girl everybody wants to know / Wishin’ you were there alone / Wonderin’ how I ever got your little hand in mine / Lookin’ over at ya like, ‘Ain’t she beautiful?’”
