Bobbi Kristina and her boyfriend Nick Gordon have gotten matching “WH” tattoos in honor of the late Whitney Houston, RadarOnline reports . The Grammy-award winning singer, who passed away on February 11, would have been 49 years old today.
19-year-old Bobbi Kristina unleashed a flood of tweets in her mother’s memory. She wrote,
“Once it hits 12 am mommy it’s your birthday I am going2celebrate it2thee fullest! Bc YOU deserve it damn it, YOU deaerveNothingburtheBEST!”
She also tweeted that the couple’s visit to the tattoo parlor would be documented in her upcoming reality show “ The Houston Chronicles .” The show will air on Lifetime, and will include Bobbi Kristina and her uncle Gary Houston, his wife Pat, and their daughter Rayah. The late singer’s mother Cissy Houston will also be on the show. The network has ordered 10 episodes of the reality series.
The late singer’s daughter also wrote a short letter to her mother on Ebony.com . She wrote that she was proud that Houston was able to finish shooting Sparkle before she died, and that she “just glowed” throughout the filming.
Bobbi Kristina and 22-year-old Nick Gordon went public with their relationship in March. Houston took Gordon in when he was 12 years old, but never formally adopted him. The couple announced that they were engaged before calling it off this month , but are still living together in Atlanta.
In an interview with Oprah Winfrey earlier this year, Bobbi Kristina said that she has suffered from mood swings since her mother died. She said,
“It comes in waves: One moment I can be happy and laughing, but then it comes over me. Sometimes, it’s so surreal. I still walk into the house like, ‘Mom?’ … but I’ve accepted it.”
