Miranda Lambert and her boyfriend, Anderson East, appeared on the red carpet over the weekend for the very first time, and around the time they did so, Miranda Lambert shared a new post on Instagram, which spoke of “girl power.”
“Thanks @carrieunderwood for having me Friday night! #girlpower #countrymusic #ACM’s #partyforacause2016 #vegas #somethin’bad,” Miranda Lambert captioned her April 4 post, which included a photo of herself and Carrie Underwood.
Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood recorded a duet, “Somethin’ Bad,” in 2014, and on Friday night, Miranda Lambert joined Underwood on stage during her performance at the Party For A Cause benefit in Los Angeles.

In other Miranda Lambert news, the 32-year-old country singer appears to be getting serious with her boyfriend after beginning their new relationship at the end of last year. In addition to their recent debut on the red carpet at the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday, April 3, the couple has shared a number of photos of one another online, and a source claims they have a great connection to one another.

On Sunday night, revealed an E! News source, East “was a little nervous” about walking the red carpet with his leading lady, but at the same time, he was “so happy to be there by [Miranda Lambert]’s side.”
Backstage, Miranda Lambert and East reportedly stayed close together and were “very affectionate,” according to an onlooker, who also revealed that East was “very attentive” to Miranda Lambert. Meanwhile, Miranda Lambert’s ex-husband, Blake Shelton, was also in attendance, and during the event, he sung his new track, “Came Here To Forget,” which is reportedly about his divorce from Miranda Lambert, and finding new love with Gwen Stefani.
Miranda Lambert “did not avoid him,” a source told E! News . “She just did not go out of her way to bump into him. If they did, she would [have said] hi… She is in a totally different space than [she was] months ago. She has no issues with Blake and is happy that he is in a good place in his life and also in love. Blake and Miranda were married, so they are not strangers. Miranda will always have a certain love for Blake, but the romantic and forever feelings are gone.”
Now, months into her relationship with East, Miranda Lambert and her new man are said to have a “crazy connection.”
“Whenever they are together they act like two free spirits… [Miranda Lambert] adores Anderson. They understand each other. Anderson has given Miranda this confidence she hasn’t felt in some time. They are very supportive with each other and their careers,” the source explained.
As for what’s next for the couple, who have been targeted with both engagement and baby rumors in recent months, the E! News source didn’t reveal much, but did say their relationship was “serious,” as they’ve met each other’s families in recent months.
“Anderson and [Miranda Lambert] are serious,” adds a source. “They have met both sides of their families. Both their families love what they have. They seem like they are in such a great place. They spend so much time together. They are also very involved with Miranda’s animals. That’s a big part of her life and Anderson is a huge animal lover.”
Miranda Lambert and East began dating in December, 2015, and first confirmed their relationship in January with a photo of them cuddling on Instagram.
