Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright didn’t appear to be doing well during last week’s episode of Vanderpump Rules .
On the show, Jax Taylor was seen preparing for his theft trial in Hawaii as he attempted to juggle work and his relationship. While Cartwright appeared quite supportive, she was taken aback when Taylor suddenly dropped a bomb on her, claiming he wasn’t a fan of the idea of marriage. According to Cartwright, her end goal is to get married and have a family, but Jax Taylor appeared to feel that marriage ruins relationship and nothing good could come of it.
Later on in the show, Jax Taylor expressed his frustration with his living arrangement with Cartwright, which came just episodes after he vowed never to let a girlfriend move in.
In addition to all of that, Jax Taylor was also extremely flirty with his co-star, Lala Kent, earlier in the season. During one episode, as he sat down for drinks with Kent, Scheana Marie Shay, and Kristen Doute, Jax Taylor was seen whispering in Kent’s ear, asking her if they could go to bed together and not tell anyone.
While Jax Taylor claimed his comments to Kent were only meant to make James Kennedy jealous, they certainly weren’t easy for Cartwright to see when she watched the episode. That said, Cartwright didn’t hold any ill will towards Jax Taylor, and the pair quickly moved on from the incident.

While Jax Taylor didn’t appear happy just one week ago on the show, his current status with Cartwright is much different, which she confirmed in a series of tweets to fans.
“Every relationship goes through tough times, mine just happens to be on TV where I’m judged,” Cartwright wrote after last week’s show. “We are better than ever & still going strong & trust me, living in a tiny studio apartment would drive any couple nuts. lol (thank God we moved).”
Following Cartwright’s message to fans, Jax Taylor added , “Thank god my girlfriend didn’t kill me and she found us an amazing new apt. but now we hate being apart, go figure.”
What’s more, Jax Taylor has had a complete change of heart when it comes to tying the knot. When a fan asked him if he and Cartwright were getting married, he announced , “Yes we are!”

“Yes, in time. Pump the breaks a little bit,” Jax Taylor continued during an interview with E! News . “Tom [Schwartz] and Katie [Maloney] still have to get married. Let’s get that out of the way first, and then we’ll discuss us…It’s definitely in the cards, just we have one wedding to get through first.”
As fans have seen on the show, Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney became engaged after years of dating and are now planning to celebrate their engagement on the show at the home of Lisa Vanderpump in Beverly Hills, California.
As for what is next for Jax Taylor and Cartwright, the couple appears to be enjoying their dating life. They recently traveled to Las Vegas with their co-stars, including Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, and Katie Maloney.
Then, on March 14, Cartwright took to Twitter, where she wrote about her and Jax Taylor’s next stop.
“I am so tireddddddd Vegas was a blast but Texas here we come,” she said.
